Basildon, Essex. Towngate Theatre, the precinct on a Saturday, the long view out across the marshes. If you're from Basildon, no explanation needed.
Every piece here starts with the place: Basildon's name and its true position, 51°34'34.0"N 0°29'19.3"E, set in clean type, and the Basildon town map traced in a single line from its real streets. Heavyweight cotton tees, museum-grade matte posters and art prints, framed prints ready for the wall, mugs and totes built for daily use.
And for anyone a long way from home: a framed print for a new house, a leaving gift for someone who'll always be from Basildon. We'll post a piece of the town anywhere it needs to go. For where you're from.
